Leonie Taylor has been Chairman of Ports Corporation of Queensland (PCQ) since 1 July 1999, and has been a Director of the Board since PCQ's inception on 1 July 1994. She was recently appointed NQBP's Chairman on 19 June 2009.

The Partner-In-Charge of Corporate Governance and Quality Accreditation at leading Brisbane financial and accounting firm Bentleys, Ms Taylor specialises in providing tax and business advice to Queensland businesses. She assists businesses with management and corporate governance issues and is well versed in all facets of financial management and the Australian Tax regime.

Ms Taylor is also a Director of Queensland Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association. She holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors.

Graham Davies
DIRECTOR

Graham Davies has more than 30 years' experience as a non-executive Director on sugar boards, various companies and co-operatives. He held the position of Chairman of the Mackay Sugar Cooperative for 14 years. Mr Davies is the Chairman of the Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority and is a Board Director of Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland.

Graham owns and operates sugar farms and a cattle property in the Mackay and Burdekin districts.

Julie Bignell

Julie Bignell is the National Vice President and Secretary of the Central and Southern Queensland Branch of the Australian Services Union. In these roles she has executive responsibility within the union for overseeing the development and implementation of industrial and organising strategies to further the interests of white-collar clerical and administration workers in the State and nationally. Ms Bignell is also an Executive Member fo the Queensland Council of Unions and Director of Union Shopper.

Kasper Kuiper

Kasper Kuiper has a background in the marine industry and port operations. He holds a Master's Foreign Going Certificate from Delfzijl, Netherlands.

Following studies at the Institute of Dredging in the Netherlands, he diversified into port construction and reclamation. This work involved some of the largest port and underwater constructions in the world in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Pakistan and the Netherlands.

As techical supervisor and manager for dredging operations he relocated to Brisbane for constuction of the Brisbane International Airport in 1980-83, after which, he worked for the Woodside Porject in Cape Lambert and Port Handland, Western Australia.

Mr Kuiper is involved in the shipping industry in Queensland and is an active member of the Brisbane branch of the Company of Master mariners and holds the position of Branch Manager for Queensland. In 1992, Mr Kuiper was appointed Honorary consul of the Netherlands in Queensland.

Mr Kuiper is the Vice President on the Board of the Duyfken Foundation.

Robynne Dudley

Robynne Dudley has strong ties with the Mackay business community and is a Partner of Shepherd and Dudley Chartered Accountants. She has been an accountant for more than 30 years.

Ms Dudley is also the Treasurer of Mackay Friends of the Theatre. She has been Deputy Chairman of Mackay Ports Limited (MPL) since 1 July 2006.

Steve Golding

Steve Golding has had a long and distinguished career with the Queensland Department of Main Roads. Mr Golding has held a number of key management positions and in July 2000 was appointed Director-General of Main Roads.

Mr Golding is active in four professional associations including Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (Australia) and he has served on a number of panels and committees. He has enjoyed a long career in the Army Reserve enlisting as a private soldier in the Queensland University Regiment in 1963. For outstanding service to the Army Reserve he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 1998.

Peter Tait

Peter Tait has extensive experience in Chartered Accountancy in SH Tait & Co for over twenty years. The practice is one of the largest in Central Queensland in accounting, taxation and general business services to a wide range of diverse industries.

Mr Tait is a contract Auditor for Queensland Audit Office and clients include local government, aboriginal councils and government owned corporations. He offers experience in advice of restructuring, finance applications, succession planning and litigation support, including business valuations.

Mr Tait has been an Honorary Treasurer of George Street Neighbourhood Centre and Honorary Treasurer of Mackay Children's Contact Service.
