Leonie Taylor has been Chairman of PCQ since 1999 and has been a Director of the Board since PCQ’s inception in 1994.
The Partner-In-Charge of Corporate Governance and Quality Accreditation at leading Brisbane financial and accounting firm Bentleys MRI, Ms Taylor specialises in providing tax and business advice to Queensland businesses. She assists businesses with management and corporate governance issues and is well versed in all facets of financial management and the Australian Tax regime.
Ms Taylor is also a Director of Queensland Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association. She holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Taxation Institute of Australia and The Institute of Company Directors.
JIM PETRICH AM

DEPUTY CHAIRMAN Chairman Human Resources and Industrial Relations Committee
Jim Petrich AM joined the PCQ Board of Directors in 1999 and has held the position of Deputy Chairman since. The CEO of Cape York Peninsula Development Association (CYPDA) from 1996 - 2005, Mr Petrich has played a key role in the economic and community development in Cape York.
Before his appointment to the CYPDA, Mr Petrich was Chairman of Cairns Region Economic Development Corporation and Executive Director of the Cattlemen's Union of Australia. He is also Chair of the Cape York Financial Project Pty Ltd which is developing community banking for Indigenous communities in the region. Mr Petrich has served as a non-executive Director on a number of Boards and is a member of the Land Tribunal of Queensland.
Awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003 for services to the pastoral industry, Mr Petrich was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2005 Queens Birthday Honours in recognition of his services to the rural community, particularly regional and economic development in Cape York Peninsula.
DI ZETLIN

Appointed to the PCQ Board in 1999, Di Zetlin is a Lecturer in the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland. Her teaching and research expertise is in conflict resolution and employment matters.
Ms Zetlin is a Senator of the University of Queensland. She has served on the Higher Educational Council of the National Board of Employment, Education and Training in the 1990s and was a member of the Women’s Employment, Education and Training Advisory Group to the Commonwealth Minister for Employment, Education and Training. She has been General Secretary of the Federated Australian University Staff Associations and President of the National Tertiary Education Union.
JULIE BIGNELL

Julie Bignell has been a PCQ Director since 2001 and is the National Vice President and Secretary of the Central and Southern Queensland Branch of the Australian Services Union. In these roles she has executive responsibility within the union for overseeing the development and implementation of industrial and organising strategies to further the interests of white-collar clerical and administrative workers in the State and nationally. Ms Bignell is also an Executive Member of the Queensland Council of Unions and Director of Union Shopper.
KASPER KUIPER R.O.N. Member Audit and Financial Risk Committee
Appointed to the PCQ Board in 2001, Kasper Kuiper has a background in the marine industry and port operations. He holds a Master’s Foreign Going Certificate from Delfzijl, The Netherlands.
Following studies at the Institute of Dredging in the Netherlands, he diversified into port construction and reclamation. This work involved some of the largest port and underwater constructions in the world —Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Pakistan and The Netherlands. In these positions, he was required to liaise between company officers, unions, embassies, government officials, ports and local authorities, as well as acting as mediator in disputes and disruptions.
As technical supervisor and manager for dredging operations he relocated to Brisbane for the construction of the Brisbane International Airport in 1980–1983, following which, he worked for the Woodside Project in Cape Lambert and Port Headland, Western Australia. He was also involved in the reclamation of Gold Coast beaches.
Mr Kuiper is involved in the shipping industry in Queensland and is an active member of the Brisbane branch of the Company of Master Mariners. In 1992, Mr Kuiper was appointed Honorary Consul of The Netherlands in Queensland. In recognition of his ongoing work in this role, Mr Kuiper was decorated as a Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in May 2006.
BERNADETTE INGLIS

Bernadette Inglis was appointed to the PCQ Board on 1 July 2006 and is Group Executive Retail Banking & Wealth Management at Suncorp - one of Australia's leaders in banking, insurance, investment and superannuation.
One of Queensland’s largest employers, Suncorp’s Retail Banking division is a national franchise with a leadership position in most product categories in Queensland, including home loans and retail deposits. The Wealth Management division currently has over $13 billion in funds under management.
With over 20 years experience in the banking sector, Bernadette brings to PCQ strong banking, finance and commercial expertise with business leadership strengths in the specialised fields of turnaround strategies and strategic initiatives and execution.
Bernadette is also the winner of the Inaugural QBR Queensland Business Woman of the Year (2006) and a Director of Opera Queensland, Suncorp Financial Services Ltd and Suncorp Noosa Management Pty Ltd.
