Annual sponsorship program which began in 2002. PCQ provides two scholarships to Sarina State High School which are awarded at their annual Speech Night. One to a Year Eleven student for assistance with tertiary studies and the second scholarship is the PCQ Industrial Studies Award. |

'Adopt-a-Beach' Program with Bowen Shire Council and a number of State Schools in Bowen.
PCQ provided $2000 towards the program which consists of a number of educational experiences for the students outside of the classroom. Activities include beach visits, beach maintenance and cleaning, litter audits, marine and dune studies, tree planting, geology, art, aquaculture and website development. |
